Academics & Research:Monitor the implementation of a contemporary and globally relevant curriculum, pedagogy, academic delivery, evaluation and follow-up of the same through appropriate control processes.Jointly responsible with the Vice Chancellor for reviewing the course structure, curriculum, course handouts, session plans, evaluations, analysis of results, remedial programs and revisions in any of the aboveReview of key academic performance of the University across faculty / schools Review key academic / research requirement raised by the Deans / Directors and provide suitable recommendation to the managementPlay key role in introducing new teaching tools, methodologies, pedagogy Suggest innovative programs, inter disciplinary studies and facilitate cross disciplinary learning. Play the key member role in launch of new schools / programs as per the market requirement Understand industry requirement and suggest academic measures accordingly (change in curriculum, introduction of courses, pedagogical changes, skill development etc.) Monitor the implementation of a contemporary and globally relevant curriculum, pedagogy, academic delivery, evaluation and follow-up of the same through appropriate control processes.Collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for reviewing the course structure, curriculum, course handouts, session plans, evaluations, analysis of results, remedial programs and revisions in any of the aboveImplement value addition programs for the holistic development of students with a particular focus on enhancing their placement potential and readiness for higher studies Coordinate with the Dean / Directors of Faculty / Schools in introduction of innovative teaching methodologies, improving the academic outcomes in the University Initiate Faculty Development Programs as per the assessment and requirementProgressing the academic interests of the universityEnsure all the academic regulations are followed in the UniversityCoordinate and assess the infrastructure and people requirements of various schools and ensure the requirements are fulfilled Implement value addition programs for the holistic development of students with a particular focus on enhancing their placement potential and readiness for higher studies Monitor the performance of the schools and suggest plans for improvement including parameters such as graduate outcomes, placements etc. Coordinate with the Dean / Director of Research in preparation of the research strategy and plan for the University Be part of the research proposal evaluation committee to ensure focused research activities and outcomes Assist in tapping the government and industry funds for research using network Understand and assist in setting up the infrastructure and resource requirement for research initiativesAssist in getting consultancy and projects from industry Monitor the research outcomes of the University and present to the management
