The Marketing and Communications  team helps build the ZS brand, champion thought leadership, support business development and inform, engage, inspire and empower past, present and future ZS people.

We seek a Digital Marketing Lead (Social Media Specialist)  to join our digital marketing team in  New Delhi, India . Social media specialist will lead ZS social media promotions across channels, including management of digital media and social media campaigns for ZS globally. The incumbent will be handling team of digital marketing associates who are responsible for managing social media channels, publishing, and promoting organic social media posts. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the ideal profile is strategically minded, analytical, enjoys working in teams and is proficient in digital marketing program execution.


  • Plan, strategize and lead all global ZS Social media activities to ensure a positive brand perception that promotes interaction on multiple levels.
  • Develop integrated social media strategy and approach for ZS brand and help build brand awareness, equity, and preference.
  • Planning and implementation of creative and innovative content for ZS social media channels, with the aim to improve visibility and reach on the different social media platforms.
  • Manage social media accounts and profiles end to end (LinkedIn, YouTube, FB, Instagram, and Twitter)
  • Work closely with internal/external stakeholders and agencies to successfully leverage social media to create brand awareness, enhance campaigns and drive marketing results.
  • Communicates and drives/expands awareness of ZS products and services, leaders, thought leadership corporate responsibility, and culture – across social media.
  • Work closely with editorial team and make sure content calendar includes all types of content and post formats across social media platforms.
  • Tracks and reports on social media trends to uncover opportunities and ensure that tactical use is optimized while monitoring competitive activities in social media.
  • Track social media influencers (though leaders in Pharma/healthcare space) and recognize any opportunities to engage, amplifying ZS’s social media presence via relationship building.
  • Drive employee advocacy solutions while working closely with internal marketing and sales team
  • Perform ongoing discovery, research and analysis for competitors, social profiles, trends, and campaigns to drive the content marketing strategy
  • Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate (preferred) from reputed college having done any marketing management course, digital technologies, or related field, with a strong record of academic achievement
  • 8-12 years of digital marketing experience specifically in social media promotions
  • Creative and love to create social content
  • Well-organized multitasker, with a keen eye for detail
  • Live, breathe and love social media. Aware of trending designs and content ideas
  • Expertise with:
  • Social media publishing tools – SproutSocial, Hubspot, Hootsuite or others
  • Employee advocacy platforms like Dynamic Signa, GagglaAMP
  • Competitor analysis tools – SEMrush, Alexa, Ahrefs, Similarweb
  • Web Analytics Tools - Adobe Analytics
  • Relentless customer focus and obsession
  • Good knowledge in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Motivation and initiative to continually improve campaign effectiveness
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills – and ability to work effectively with different people within an organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
