Role: M&A Integration – Value Creation Lead Band and Job Title: -Senior Manager Function: Corporate Development Sub-Function: Value Creation Description: Wipro has a strong focus on inorganic growth strategy and has been acquiring companies of different sizes across the globe to augment its capabilities, scale and global presence. Wipro’s ‘Corporate Development’ function identify, evaluate and execute these strategic M&A transactions. To maximize value from these acquisitions, successful go to market (GTM) and business integration play a critical role, so Corporate Development’s Value Creation sub-function takes care of post-acquisition phase and work on post-merger integration to enable seamless integration of acquired entities in Wipro. Post-Merger Integration – Value Creation Leader would lead the Post-Merger Integration function from GTM and business integration perspective for assigned transaction(s). The incumbent will analyze acquired entity’s GTM and sales operating structure, service offerings, clients and capabilities, and help to decide on the integration structure (full, partial or no integration), speed of integration (immediate, phased) and develop and execute ‘Target Operating Model’ for the acquired entity to realize full value of underlying synergies and make the acquisition – “a success”. The role requires an inspiring and confident leader with a total work experience of 15+ years in managing Post-Merger Integration activities (primarily from business and GTM perspective) in a global technology / consulting organization. Role and Responsibilities: Lead Business Integration Management Office (IMO) on GTM and business activities for assigned deal(s) Drive relationship with Target entity’s leadership and ensure effective assimilation of Wipro’s policies, 5 habits, culture and ways of working Bring Wipro SMUs (Strategic Market Units) and GBL (Global Business Line) Practice leaders together to ensure common vision and business agenda w.r.t. to the acquisition Define and execute business Target Operating Model (TOM) between Wipro and Target entity to drive business integration and joint GTM efforts Define synergy & incentive framework, and drive systems and sales enablement to implement TOM Drive business associated functional collaboration (i.e. HR/ Finance/ Legal/ Ops/ Branding/ Marketing) Establish a robust governance and reporting framework, ensure consistent & timely communication of acquisition-related updates to both internal and external stakeholders Help change management on business related activities by harmonizing & bridging business and functional process gaps at Wipro and the acquired entity Support talent planning to ensure delivery fulfillment and no/minimum client disruptions Institutionalize capability and cadre building to develop & expand unique capabilities and support business expansion at the acquired entity Position Wipro’s capabilities and deal’s success externally (Investor Relations, Analyst Relations) and internally (event, webinars, newsletters) Incumbent should possess the following traits/ skills: 10+ years of relevant experience in Post-Merger Integration of large, complex and transformational deals in technology sector Strong hold on key M&A trends and inorganic growth levers in technology & consulting space Strong business acumen and exceptional problem solving skills to ideate innovative business integration and GTM approach Ability to define, execute and achieve aggressive synergy targets Ability to manage change and escalations in uncertain and ambiguous situations Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strong people management skills to lead highly competent and ambitious people Qualifications: Master’s Degree in business administration or similar Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, functional leadership, project management, or similar analytical functions involving multidisciplinary domains Strong track record of leadership and project management in time sensitive situations Comfort with working both independently and with large teams in a matrixed organization environment Travel: This role might involve business travel to Wipro & entities locations as needed (approx. 20-30%) Roles & Responsibilities: Role: M&A Integration – Value Creation Lead Band and Job Title: -Senior Manager Function: Corporate Development Sub-Function: Value Creation Description: Wipro has a strong focus on inorganic growth strategy and has been acquiring companies of different sizes across the globe to augment its capabilities, scale and global presence.
