Role & Responsibilities

As Alliance & Business Development Lead, you are responsible for driving business development (BD) activities within the SEA cluster – reporting to the alliance lead of SEA cluster and working closely with BD lead of APJ you will be responsible to shape our BD strategy, making a deal happen and timely renewal to ensure continuity of existing partnership.

New Business Development Opportunity

Business development lead will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, forecasting and championing assets/opportunities. The business development lead will lead disease area assessments, new asset searches, forecasting/ business case development, and commercial due diligence on new assets identified for promotion, licensing in/out, or acquisition transactions.

Ensuring Improvement & Continuity of existing partnership

Business Development lead will work closely with alliance lead of respective portfolio to ensure timely renewal and improvement of existing partnership’s contract. BD lead will be responsible to lead the renewal and negotiation process (where necessary) with input and working closely with alliance lead, commercial director and other cross functional stake holder.

Experience, Skills and Education

Candidate should at-least have a University degree with major in Business and/or Science Minimum 5 – 7 years of work experience after graduation - highly preferred if candidate has Marketing and/or Sales experience in pharmaceuticals industry in SEA region Analytical and Structured problem-solving approach Working knowledge of financial and legal for business development activities Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills Strong verbal, written and presentation skills Ability to navigate through complex situation
