Senior Software Engineer Java Spring Microservices

United States (en-US) Senior Software Engineer - Java, Spring & Microservices Description & Qualifications Description UKG is hiring a Senior Software Engineer who would be responsible for analyzing, developing & designing our high-performance software products. • Developing software products using modeling techniques and software design patterns • Developing web-based business applications • Participate in coding & designing of the application software • Interpret informal requirement descriptions and detail them for other team members consumption • Develop server-side business logic and core processing areas • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards • Ability to communicate information effectively to customers at various organizational levels • Demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to detail and strong verbal & written communication skills in English Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the software development lifecycle • Experience in Java/J2EE, Kotlin, Spring framework, JPA/Hibernate, Microservices based architecture, SOA • Experience in OOPS, data structures and algorithms, multithreading, identity & security controls • Experience in unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, PowerMock, etc. • Experience with event-driven Microservices with Kafka/RabbitMQ • Experience with caching services such as Redis • Experience with Surge engine is a plus • Knowledge or experience with SaaS design principles and solutions • Experience with the development of API’s and Web Services • Experience with Angular, JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS • Experience with Typescript and Node.JS is a plus • Ability to write intermediate SQL queries Company Overview Here at UKG, Our Purpose Is People.
