Job Description & Requirements
The Project Management Office (PMO) team oversees the execution, integration, stakeholder engagement and risk management of change projects executed across the Hardware Development Group (HDG) organization. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and high-caliber individual to be part of the HDG PMO team. The ideal candidate will understand the strategic direction of HDG within the SLM business. Excellent communication skills are required to influence a wide range of audiences. The job may involve both internal and external negotiations which will have a major impact on the area managed, and on the organization. The candidate will execute against the PMO team’s vision, mission, and goals. Additional responsibilities include:
Review existing PMO processes and governance and augment, change, or create new processes and governance to ensure HDG operates predictably and efficiently.
Ensure implementation and adherence to PMO processes and governance across HDG.
Participate and enable Quality Assurance reviews to monitor adherence.
Maintain integrated portfolio project management plan and track interdependencies (inputs, infrastructure, scope, resources, and schedules) to assess impact and communicate it to all stakeholders.
Leverage/create tools for “what-if” analysis.
Coordinate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc status reporting across the portfolio.
Create dashboards to review status across the portfolio.


Drive continuous improvement and adoption of enterprise and change management processes and tools to create efficiency and optimize HDG’s delivery.
Own and manage PMO system of record and knowledge repositories.
Manage local PMO team.
Job Requirements
Bachelors or Masters's degree with 7+ years of related experience, PMP certification preferred
5+ years prior PMO or Project Management experience.
Prior ASIC Development experience on IP/SOCs.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to comprehend, document, evaluate and improve complex project management processes.
Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written, including the ability to articulate recommendations and results at a level that resonates across many different audiences.
Energetic, results-driven individuals.
Comfortable communicating from boardroom to coffee room, providing actionable insights.
Ability to problem solve creatively to complete complex assignments.
Ability to lead other personnel by influence rather than the position of authority.
Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise.
High customer empathy and ability to understand wants vs. needs, ensure the right insight reached the right person at the right time.
