Overview

The role is responsible for the delivery of Link Group’s HR / people reporting metrics. The role is to provide support to HR and the broader business on HR metrics, analytics and insights to better understand existing HR issues. It is also expected that the role will contribute to the continuous improvement of Link Group’s reporting, processes, and systems.

The role will form part of the global HR Systems team and collaboratively contribute to the efficient provision of HR systems reporting and analytics for the Group.


Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Support HR and Strategic initiatives by utilising and developing analytics to measure, track and demonstrate meaningful statistics and insights

  • Drive and deliver key change management messages and approaches for HR reporting and analytics to ensure HR and business buy-in

  • Build SME knowledge of core HR systems (Oracle HCM) leveraging best practice to provide technical expertise in process and system design

  • Ability to interpret results and insights based on the HR data gathered and transformed for relevant stakeholders



Operational Management

  • Execute the production of standard HR reports, dashboards, and sophisticated analysis across the entire employee lifecycle using existing internal and external data sources available to the Group

  • Develop and interpret reports which clearly and concisely show key workforce trends and problem areas, including status and trends

  • Develop, manage, and interpret reports which purport to Link Groups Reward programs (including pay, benchmarking, equity, performance management, benefits, recognition, and sales incentives)

  • Accessing and transforming HR data into HR reports and dashboards incorporating trend and benchmark data, with quality and aligned information;

  • Communicate observations through data, analytics, and thoughtful interpretation of findings

  • Deliver cyclical annual, quarterly compliance / internal reporting such as Australia’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency report, SMCR pay reporting, Link Group’s Sustainability report, UK Minimum Wage and Gender Equality reporting, Link Group Diversity reporting, Quarterly Risk Board reports

  • Review reports to identify trends or areas that may require further review by HR team. This could include ad hoc analysis or systematic analysis of existing reports.

  • Provision of HR data for other people related systems and processes such as monthly employee data input for the WHS system, employee data submission for insurance renewals, monthly HR reports for action and follow up, HR reporting for Talent, and collation of employee data for Link Group employee surveys

  • Actioning other adhoc HR related report requests e.g. client tender information, audits, and business reporting requirements



People Leadership

  • Work with the broader HR team through the analysis of HR data to transform available HR data into actionable insights and recommendations

  • Using technical knowledge on analytics tools (OTBI, OBIEE, Power BI, Excel) to build and better support the business and HR on all things HR systems, Performance and Reward, payroll, and technology related



Governance & Risk
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements

  • Support Link Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices

  • Review, improve, automate and streamline current processes and systems and identify trends and changes required to processes and systems



Experience & Personal Attributes

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR data analysis and/or reporting in information management functions, preferably in a multinational environment;

  • Strong HR Analytics and cloud HR systems background with an understanding of HR data and processes

  • Significant experience and technical knowledge in HRIS and Analytics platforms and tools such as Oracle HCM (OTBI, OBIEE), PowerBI with Advanced Excel skills

  • A track record in and/or proven ability to develop and complete complex business and/or HR analytics and reporting with ability to segment / filter data to customise views for different users

  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to undertake project work, including the development and implementation of a specific project plan

  • Strong verbal and written communication - advanced level of proficiency in English

  • Degree-educated or relevant professional qualifications in HR, Business / Economics / Finance, Data Analytics, Data Computer / Science, Statistics or a related discipline

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Personal commitment to and visible role modelling of the organisation's behaviours and values.

  • A service oriented mindset, with high level of resilience and determination to achieve high quality work

  • Previous experience in HR positions/projects or in a multinational environment will be considered an added value

  • Advanced data management skills to transform raw data into final data sets for analysis through Oracle SQL is desirable
