KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Tasks
• Formulate appropriate HR strategies and agenda in line with Functions needs, in consultation with the Group HR Head and the Business/ Function Head
• Develop the manpower budget in discussion with the Function head and Group HR head and address productivity issues
• Analyse HR trends and metrics for the function along Corporate HR team in order to determine the priorities and strategies for the division.
• Conceptualise, develop and execute special projects for the function
Talent Acquisition
• Develop an overall manpower plan for the function and define the hiring priorities
• Decide the appropriate strategy for sourcing the candidates for all levels in the function
• Ensure the creation & maintenance of all Recruitment MIS, including a databank of candidates for various positions for filling future vacancies
• Supervise and manage all operational activities related to Talent Acquisition for Manager and belowAssist Corporate HR in hiring of Senior Manager and above levels where required
• Ensure timely availability of manpower through ensuring that recruitment targets are met with regards to timelines, quality and compliance to corporate recruitment policy Proactively seek support of Corporate HR in meeting manpower requirements
• Ensure proper induction of all new hires
Performance management
• Assist line managers within the function in effective implementation of the Performance Management system in line with corporate guidelines Collate ratings, ratings review and analysis to facilitate the moderation process
• Ensure the implementation of the feedback process post appraisals within the defined timelines
• Assist Line Managers in cascading KRAs/ Performance metrics to the junior most level
• Handle employee grievances post performance management process
Training & OD
• Identify training needs of the function and devise a development action plan in discussion with Corporate HR
• Ensure timely implementation of agreed training calendar
• Participate in evaluating and monitoring the success of training programmes and provide feedback to Corporate HRMonitor development actions planned for individuals to ensure overall capability buildingImplement any specific OD interventions required in discussion with Function head and Corporate HR head
Employee ConnectContinuously interact with all functional heads to understand their needs, address the issues within agreed timelines
• Develop and implement employee communication and information sharing systems and ensure close dialogue and communication with all levels of employees
• Work closely with employees and the management team to improve work relationships, build morale through engagement initiatives Give constant feedback to the senior management team relating to employees morale and expectations so that necessary initiatives can be taken to improve morale & organizational climate
• Manage and resolve employee relations issuesBuild rapport with all critical employees to ensure proactive addressing of concerns
Implementing HR Policies and ProcessesEnsure implementation of HR policies and processes defined by Corporate HRHighlight any concerns on policies to Corporate HREnsure HR MIS for the function is sent timelyMonitor all key HR matrices identified by Corporate HR
