Job Title Verification & Validation Lead
Description
You are responsible for
Leading validation team to execute upon the following responsibilities:
Define and deploy the (sub)system verification strategy for RF Coils
Improve (sub)system verification coverage, effectiveness, and efficiency for MR Coils
Planning of (sub)system level tests both functional and non-functional (e.g. reliability, performance, environmental, etc.) including design, preparation, and implementation/execution of tests f
Coordination, tracking and reporting of the (sub)system verification activities of RF Coils
Review requirements in system and (sub)system level requirement specifications for consistency and testability
Support integration, validation, and post validation activities
Hands on experience in product compliance tests pertaining to IEC60601-1 1-2 and other medical device standards applicable to RF Coils
Hands on experience in validating the necessary Phantoms, Fixture and test equipment used on VV
Development and execution of validation test plans , test records and Test fixtures .
Testing, and debug of critical sub-assemblies
Work with design teams to isolate design errata, perform failure analysis, and verify design fixes.
Perform system-level verification prior to production release to identify problems.
Enables and/or performs MR coils characterization and functional testing through the development of robust and reusable tests.
Maintain and analyze characterization data to ensure that the data matches design goals while also identifying potential problems in production.
Define, develop, and/or acquire software and/or hardware tools in support of MR coils VV
Develop automation scripts to automate data collection, decrease data collection times, ensure repeatable measurements, and generate reports.
Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members to develop test automation.
Communicates technical information to senior members of the management team.
Provides guidance, mentoring, and direct supervision to subordinates
Oversees interaction of team members with other disciplines (design, applications, and product and test engineering).
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements

To succeed in this role, you ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Knowledge of electromagnetic fields and human body interactions
Knowledge of MRI scanner hardware (RF coils, Gradient coils, Magnet, etc.)
MR RF coil test experience with MR scanners .
University or B.E/B.Tech/BS degree in electronics / electrical / mechanical engineering with a broad technical understanding and interest
10+ years of work experience and at least 5 years of experience in test engineering and management
Understands the hardware/software development lifecycle
Process oriented with basic knowledge of FDA and/or ISO regulations
Own and execute the component qualifications, coils and system testing of MR Coils
Maintain system test protocols
Maintain the test and tractability records
Support Compliance and Safety testing
Maintain Manage the product defects work with team for resolution
Technical documentation authoring and editing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage, and retain team members
Ability to work across functional groups
Familiarity with quality procedures and documentation
Proficiency with MS Office MS excel or equivalent
Perfect command of both written and spoken English
