Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Role Overview: -Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing program of global scope, impact, and complexity. In this role you will be responsible for center of excellence – Application Lifecycle necessary to pivot enterprise business to next-gen. Your will be responsible to build the master plan or roadmap to guide the choices in developing and refining the program and coach & facilitate teams through the software development life cycle using Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies and works cross-functionally to ensure projects are effectively developed and deployed with quality and on time delivery into our production systems.

Responsibilities of the Technical Program Manager
  • Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action.
  • Defining the program governance (controls).
  • Managing the program’s budget on behalf of the business, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses.
  • Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements
  • Facilitating the appointment of project team, coordinating the projects and their interdependencies, and managing and utilizing resources across projects;
  • Managing stakeholders’ communication;
  • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager; and
  • Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.
Skills and attributes of the Technical Program Manager

The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. You must have the following base capabilities.
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling program
  • Sound business case development and approvals skills, Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program
  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management
  • Strong leadership and management skills, sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the program
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
Basic Qualifications
  • PMP Certified & or Prince 2 Certified
  • CSM Certification / Exposure to Scrum Methodology
  • 10+ years of overall work experience with 5+ years of program/program management, in IT, and software development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of program.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must have bias for action and strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to deliver first class customer experiences with a deep understanding of best practices
