This senior program manager role will report directly to the Director, TS Strategy and Business Operations and will be responsible for strategic planning, program development and execution in the IT transformation & strategy domain. We are looking for a strategist who can formulate and execute on organizational strategy focused on maturing IT capabilities across people, process, and technology. This role will lead and drive a comprehensive roadmap, overseeing key initiatives to ensure they effectively achieve the organization’s strategy and goals. You will be responsible for guiding various sophisticated projects and workstreams through the end-to-end lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional leaders, project teams, and business stakeholders. This person is a leader with high emotional intelligence, strength working cross-functionally, and an ability to influence and facilitate others to achieve program success.Primary ResponsibilitiesFormulate, define, and socialize organizational strategy for Technology Services with input from the CIO, leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional team membersBe a strategy thought leader, staying up to date on industry research and best practices to advise our north star and optimize our IT organizationPartner with a Change Leader to identify a change management strategy and plan across the programDevelop and maintain a program portfolio of projects, roadmaps, and timelines – identify multiple workstreams and supervise the execution of the workstreams per scope, schedule, resourcing, and budgetEstablish team structure for each workstream, providing direction to project leads and coordinators on various workstreams to handle scope, timelines, deliverables, and risks to the overall programEnsure upstream and downstream impacts are identified, communicated, and aligned across all levels from team members to the CIOEstablish program rhythm of business – including communications, status reports, and readouts to stakeholders and leadershipCreate and supervise measures of success / KPIs for the programServe as an escalation point on risks, issues, and decisions, course-correcting as neededBring an outstanding blend of business and technical acumen: a big-picture vision, the aim to make that vision a reality, and domain credibility to engage with stakeholders across F5Perform other related duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong understanding of IT capabilities and processes with an aptitude for process optimizationKnowledgeable about operating models & organizational designAbility to perform capability maturity assessmentsStrong leadership presence and skills in communicating, working with, and enabling senior leadershipStrong portfolio management, program management, and prioritization modeling skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships to engage, align, and gain collaborator consensusStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring globally diverse teams together to address issues and shape solutionsAbility to communicate effectively across written, verbal, and presentation formats to all levels of the organization including executivesStrong organization and time management skills to keep programs on trackAbility to lead effectively in fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and contending prioritiesQualifications8+ years’ experience in management consulting, strategy, IT transformation, and / or leading complex programs to achieve strategic outcomes at technology-based companies or in technical domainsBachelor’s degree requiredDemonstrated knowledge of software development, agile and project lifecyclesPreferred QualificationsPMP certification a plusBe part of a company that’s on the forefront of transformation.
