He/she will be responsible to xtract, manipulate and analyse large amounts of data from various sales or sales related databases. Prepare information in an organized and systematic manner for a diversified audience, support the Sales Support Manager. Role DetailsRole title : Sales AnalystCorporate/Business : DHL ExpressDepartment/Function : Commercial-(Sales)Job family : EXP IN Commercial Planning & ResearchReports to : Sales Support ManagerScope of roleBudgeted T/O in m or bn € [year]: Country AOPNumber of countries covered [year]: IndiaNo. Of FTEs [year]: Sales TeamKey ResponsibilitiesHe/she will have to perform the following key activities: Sales Planning & Development Manager:Work closely with Sales Support Manager to complete the AOP and all other Sales Budgets.Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities deemed necessary by the Sales Planning and Development Manager.Provide various support in order to facilitate delivery of achievement of business plans in the National Customers, Regular and Direct Sales revenue streams, through sales reporting and statistics, sales administration.Country Sales Function:Coordinate between various parties and/or sections for information to deliver the required report.Support with analysis and data MIS required for country management.Country Marketing Function: Provide monthly report of revenue by productsEnsure that the marketing programs are supported for proper implementation with sales team.Country Office - other departments:Help develop, lead and deploy a centralized sales planning, support and reporting structure to gain economies of scale and consistency throughout the country office, including a sales automation tool, encompassing across all areas of the sales organisation, supporting region's harmonized 'ways of working'Provide monthly report of revenue by products and the required data for strategic planning.Country Sales, GCS and MNC Sales Functions:Assist in the acquisition and reporting technologies, and thereafter rolling out these technologies to the country sales teams.Assist in the design, development and delivery of the reports required by internal customers.Provide feedback on data capture techniques and practices.Sales Information/Data Management & Analyses.Generate reports and archive them accordingly.Administer any changes to the database and ensure data integrity.Collate reports from individual sales colleagues and prepare a consolidated report. for Management. Understand the various internal systems and its linkages to each other to extract the appropriate data from, as and when required.Assist in the design, development and delivery of the reports required by internal and external customers.Enhance efficiency in reporting by way of MIS automation with an aim to improve on speed as well as maintain accuracy.Manage the vast amount of data and manipulate them for various uses. Assist to build databases and data warehouse for analysis and archival purpose.Design, build and generate ad hoc reports as and when required.Sales Performance Analysis:Systemize Sales Data Process and Procedures with help from IT and MarketingProvide monthly performance analysis report for country management highlighting key insights of business and changing trendsHas to be key support in providing critical business reports and insightful analysis required for strategic actions with independent views as suggestions. Deployment of Technologies, Tools & Processes to Support Sales Process.Monitor sales processes and activities. Ensure that the system in place to measure these activities is updated and captures all key indicators and other relevant measurements.Analyse reports and highlight areas of opportunities or concerns to Management for action.Sales Budgeting & incentive:Work closely with the Sales Support Manager in preparing the Sales budgets and establishing effective communication with sales team to help them understand the same.Deploy sales incentive scheme and recognition program harmonized with regional policyCollect relevant sales activity data in accordance with sales incentive programCalculate and disseminate sales incentive reports to stake holders.Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. He/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions.Skills RequiredPresentation layout skills.Data Management with Excel & MS Access.Good understanding of Power BI toolData Automation based on VBA scriptingSoftware skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Communication skills (English), spoken and written.Understanding of the language of business practices.(Experience/Certifications/Qualifications/Licenses) 2-3 years' experience in SalesExperience of Sales Database Management, Sales Analysis and use of Business Statistics.Experience in developing reports and plans, in a large and dynamic sales environment.Experience in leading the development and design of sales performance reports.Degree in Business (or related discipline).
