The Private Brands Marketplace team is looking for a customer-obsessed Program Manager to help build one of the most exciting growth engines for Private Brands at Amazon.in. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic business environment, help to identify and drive improvements in both the short term as well as long term strategic processes/programs of the Private Brands acquisition efforts. (S)He will be responsible for negotiating with multi- functional stakeholders (including global teams), devise product & launch plans, resolve execution blockers, set and drive the right frameworks to ensure the success of the brand and seller acquisition efforts as well as overall process improvements across the entire seller launch to ramp up journey.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess deep knowledge and expertise effective program management and supporting mechanisms, ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision, comfortable working across multiple complex functions and capability to influence external parties and manage to drive multiple metrics with the seller facing teams for success. The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems, training other stakeholders on systems and processes and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations. As well as excellent organization skills, (s)he will need to be comfortable working with raw data sources to establish clear insight. The ideal candidate sees around corners, is biased for action in ensuring the team is set up for success in achieving our goals, and earns trust through broad stakeholder influence. This role will play an important role through the business planning process and will get exposure to senior leadership across the broader Amazon Private Brands organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
Measure Impact Own reporting KPIs, recommendations that use data to optimize them, and execution of those optimizations.
Gather data from multiple sources across all the key input and output metrics and comes out with actionable insights for various partner teams to execute
Discovery of strategic business opportunities for our customers through cross function collaboration with category teams, sales teams etc.
Set up automation workflows across various workstreams to support the various partner teams within the seller organization
Track and monitor performance and quality of brand launches
5-8 years of experience in program management/business development or similar functions
Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred.
Deep understanding of e-commerce is required (preferably prior experience in e-commerce).
Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools
Smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative
Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented
MBA is preferred
Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage.
Experience in program management (2-3 years) is a definite plus
