  • Job Title IT Agile Project Manager

Description

- IT Project Manager PMP / Prince2 Certified. Added advantage if CSM/PSM certified.

- Scale of projects - Project Manager will lead projects of small to medium scale.

- Type of projects - Projects may be Waterfall or Agile in nature.

- Complexity of projects - Project Manager will lead projects of low to medium complexity and also be required to support the management of large projects and/or manage one or more project workstreams (sub- projects) with some level of complexity and scope.

- Concurrency of projects - Project Manager will lead a number of projects depending upon the complexity and scale; typically, 3-6 projects.

- Diversity of stakeholder management - The Project Manager must devise a stakeholder management strategy to perform effective stakeholder management for a range of people ranging from level 4 executives through to level 8 engineers.

- Reporting - The project manager has to ensure regular & timely reporting of all projects & at times required to have adhoc reports to be presented at management level.

- Budget - Project Manager needs to consolidate, control & track the project costs continuously during the project execution. This role also may need to work with the budget owner

Qualifications :

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment

- A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams. PMP preferred

- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred

- Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel

Balanced business/technical background :

- Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues

- Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
UG : B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, BCA in Computers, B.Sc in Any Specialization
