About The Role
As Virtuoso’s first Community Manager, you’ll be responsible for building the Virtuoso community program from scratch and creating and executing on a global strategy for building, maintaining, and growing a community program. The community manager will be focused on energizing the community through virtual and in-person events, working with influencers and leaders in the market to help tell the Virtuoso story, and developing appropriate community channels. In this role, you’ll work closely with the global GTM team, customers, partners and their communities - while experimenting with new channels, methods, and incentives for building the Virtuoso community.
Create the global strategy for the Virtuoso community, including specific strategies for influencer engagement, community engagement, social media, and in-person and virtual events; this strategy is inclusive of initial deployment, execution, maintenance and growth across all community channels.
Research, recommend, and help implement new channels, opportunities, and best practices for regional program recruitment and activation.
Identify key influencers, partners, and existing community groups in the market and create a strategy for building relationships and partnering with them to build the Virtuoso brand.
Source, research, and recruit regional participants into the Virtuoso Community Program, including (but not limited to) online recruiting, partner relationships, direct customer contact, and coordinating virtual and in-person events.
Approach community development creatively - use accreditation, gamification, and social media in order to build a community. Make it fun for people!
Set, plan, and implement social media and community engagement campaigns and strategies.
Produce region-specific resources, marketing campaigns, content, and events for ongoing recruitment, onboarding, activation, engagement and retention of community audiences.

What we need from you:

This isn’t your first rodeo - as a community manager or in a similar role. Ideally, you’ve built a community program from scratch.
You get tech - you have experience in the software testing market.
You love people (especially customers) and relish being able to be the face of the brand for them to help solve their problems, educate, and grow.
You know how to run an event - you’ve planned and executed events at a variety of scales, including virtual and in-person events, workshops, trainings, meetup groups, trade shows, roadshows, executive programs, and large-scale conference.
You’re a creative at heart - you know how to create programs and drive ideas that get people interested in Virtuoso. You have the ability to create content both on your own and in conjunction with other teams.
Social is your sh*t - you have experience using LinkedIn, Twitter, and Slack.
Public speaking? No sweat. You’re well-spoken, professional, and comfortable representing the Virtuoso brand in front of any audience.
You measure what matters - you can identify and track relevant KPIs in order to influence the path forward.
You get CRMs - HubSpot experience is preferred, but a working knowledge of any of the main CRMs is enough.
You’re good at the practical stuff - you can manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; you’re used to managing competing deadlines and can work within budget and on quick timelines.
Entrepreneurial, flexible, and ready to jump on new projects and opportunities (even if loosely defined out of the initially defined job scope).
You have the ability to travel regionally and globally periodically.
