We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of CCR, MR and Stress Testing Developments and Controls Lead (VP) Principal responsibilities: Lead the implementation of all CCR and MR system related changes. Understanding the requirements from the BAU teams, translating into the IT jargon and implement those changes with the help of IT teams. Supporting BAU in understanding the complex system logics. Be responsible for controls within the BAU reporting including both system based and manual controls. Manage the book of work for the BAU and new regulatory requirements, be proactive and front running in managing the priorities for the system delivery. Willing to be involved in details, to understand issues, regulatory requirements and propose solutions rather than relying on the BAU teams to drive the solution proposals. The role is a key link between BAU and the IT and change deliver teams. The role should sure system deliveries are prioritised and implemented in the best possible form for the BAU reporting to be as efficient as possible. Effective communication with the wider team, help them navigate through difficult channels and complex infrastructures Achieve efficiency in operations and maintain work-life balance. Create an environment within the team which fosters knowledge sharing and open forums Requirements Accounting qualification, bachelor’s degree or other qualifications relevant to the industry. (MBA, CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA etc.) Minimum 12 years of experience in similar roles, preferably as a business analyst. Regulatory rules knowledge for CCR (SACCR, IMM CVA), MR (IMA, STD, FRTB) and other B3R regulations Clear communication skills, understanding of the risks faced by the team, coming up with solutions Strongly analytical and logical mind set with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other query tools (Microsoft Office Access) Self-starter, confident and able to work under pressure Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with internal & external customers, MSS Capital Management and the Traded Risk teams. Ability to prioritise the multiple book of work, based on the regulatory requirements and the efficiency needs of the BAU team. Experienced in working under pressure on multiple process improvement projects Ability to support the BAU team in all scenarios, helping them navigate out of system and IT infrastructure challenges. Knowledge of Basel III/CRDIV and PRA regulatory rules; AOP & Stress Testing reporting. Knowledge of Python, R, Xceptor or any upcoming technology used within Finance for automation would be an advantage. Knowledge of MSS business and Traded Risk systems and processes.
