HIC Pune is rapidly growing as multimodality site, Philips is currently seeking to recruit an RF System Designer to join the MRI R&D team. The position will play an important role in the development of new concept or MRI major components including RF surface coil, phased array and RF circuits for MRI. This position has the opportunity to work with the world-famous top-level scientists and experienced engineers of Philips. The post will suit an engineer ideally familiar with RF circuits.You are responsible forMR system requirement definition.Performing MR system (1.5T & 3T) simulation & analysis.MR system integration & debug of 1.5T & 3T Systems.Product knowledge on RF & Gradient Amplifiers.System Thinking Implementation at every stage of the product.Study the anatomy and application requirement (Anatomy, FOV, Size, weight etc.)Define the system config, requirements and no of channelsDesign & develop next generation system interface concept.Create the requirement specs (functional, compliance, performance and general)Develop the architecture/ conceptsReview the overall and component designSystem level Coil performance testingDesign documentation for compliance submissionComplete end to end system integration, testing and verification part of new product developmentWorking with component teams for design and problem solving.Support the production & sites to solve the problems.You are a part ofA progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business, you would be part of MR R&D team with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the followingAll applicants are required to have the following:Willing to continue learningKnowledge of various MR sub-systems in the MR Room.Knowledge of system drivers and chiller units in Equipment Room.Knowledge on MR system Integration.Skilled in MR systems (1.5T & 3T) and its variations.Familiar with MR Physics & MR Pulse sequence.Familiar with System User Interface.Familiar with MR IQ.Strong computational skills including MATLAB.Although not essential, it would be desirable if applicants have the following: MRI system development, signal acquisition, image reconstruction.Familiar with signals & systems.Knowledge of electromagnetic fields and human body interactionsKnowledge of MRI scanner hardware (RF coils, Gradient coils, Magnet, etc.)Experience in high frequency numerical electromagnetic simulations (HFSS, Sim4Life, etc.)Knowledge on cryogenics & cold-head technology of the magnet cooling system.MR method design experience.MR RF coil design/test experience.MR EM design/simulation experience.HW design experienceThe ideal candidate will have good communication skills, will work well within a multi-disciplinary research team In return, we offer youA rewarding career in Philips with attractive package.Extensive set of tools to drive your career, such as a personal development budget, free training and coachingAttractive collective health insurance packageOpportunity to buy Philips shares and products with discountHow we work at PhilipsOur newly-adopted hybrid work concept fuses flexibility with collaboration to deliver great outcomes for our people and our customers.
