We are seeking an individual to partner with global HR process owners to establish good data governance practices and standards of our HR data assets.

Youll partner with the data and workforce analytics teams, our customers, external vendors and our IT partners to ensure that our people data assets are governed effectively enabling us to deliver seamless analytics, drive business value and maximise the value of our existing technology platforms. You will ensure that the HR Function complies with our high internal standards regarding digital & data assets and meets all our external legal obligations regarding data protection, data retention & privacy, transfer of data and use of artificial intelligence. This is a critical and fundamental activity in delivering our Digital, Data and Analytics vision and strategy.

Youll be working independently as well as in matrixed teams, providing leadership and defining collaborative data governance work packages.

Key Responsibilities

Develop HR data quality standards, data privacy, code of conduct and ethics policies
Advise internally on data privacy, data transfers and educate and re-enforce HR global data standards with HR colleagues around the world
Ability to interpret new data privacy / data transfer legislation, provide recommendations and drive implementation of required actions
Enhance and monitor existing HR data quality frameworks. Resolve underlying reasons for data issues
Monitor application users to ensure they are following data governance procedures
Ownership for definition of HR system security access request & approval process e.g. Workday
Oversee and govern HR systems security processes ensuring controls are met
Advise, oversee and audit HRs approach to data retention to ensure we comply with internal and external requirements
Assist with data monitoring and provide management with guidance on streamlining data management
Create and maintain common data dictionaries and the tools or methods that support data standards

Essential Requirements

Experience of HR data protection & privacy guidelines
Knowledge of HR system security processes and controls
A solid understanding of HR data management processes
Ability to demonstrate initiative and a strong customer orientation
Comfortable working with different teams, across both HR, other business areas and in a global environment
Strong business acumen, articulate, able to influence at senior levels
